Restore power to the people – Mitigate or Eliminate Political Parties and factions.

Posted by in America
Political Parties do not represent the people.  They manipulate the people by fomenting hatred and anger.
According to Pew Research, most people do not vote for their party but rather against the other party.
No longer is race or class the major divider, it is now Political party.
One half of the country sees the other as evil.  Divided we fall.

When one Political Party controls the Presidency and both the House and Senate, there is only one voice and no separation of powers… in effect a Monarchy and a soft or hard tyranny.

When two Political parties are balanced there is stalemate as each play for reelection, demonize the other  or take revenge against the other.

One solution is to have more Political parties (by allowing people to make a list of choices and have a runoff election).  This doesn’t solve the problem because parties form coalitions to achieve a majority and the same problem of one or two party control occurs.

Our system was not designed for Political Parties.  It was designed for representation of the people, not some private business.   You wouldn’t allow a corporation to make your choices, yet that’s exactly what a Political Party is and that’s exactly what they do.

You might object based on the first amendment right to free speech and association.   It says “the right of the People to peacefully assemble and petition the government for a redress of grievances” not a bunch of private corporations.

Government has no rights – only duties.

Secondly, the right to associate for expressive purposes is not absolute.    People do not have the right of association for violence, crime, insurrection or impinging on another person’s rights, property or safety.   Also the rights of association may be infringed upon by regulations which serve a compelling state interest, unrelated to the suppression of ideas, that cannot be achieved through less restrictive means. – see Democratic Party of United States v. Wisconsin ex rel La Follette, 450 U.S. 107, 124-25 (1981).

There are a number of compelling reasons of State’s (Republican form of government) interest and the People’s interest for restricting Political Parties, besides their negation of the Separation of Powers and representative Republican government of the people.   They negate free choice in voting.  Why?  The parties pick the so called representatives.  They are the Party’s representatives not yours.  your community didn’t vet the candidates to see if they represent your interests.  Your community didn’t put up a slate of people from which the Party could choose.  No.  The party picks someone loyal to them and their interests, not yours.

Voting is no longer a free choice.  It is a choice, under duress, between two evils.  Primary Voting between the party’s candidates is like a group of bank robbers allowing their  hostages to vote for which one will blow their heads off.   Is that a free choice?   Voting for candidates in the election is not a free choice.  It is like a rapist asking you to choose between being killed or being raped.  No matter the choice, did you consent?  Not of your free will. Consent under duress can not be used as a justification for the rapists actions.  Yet Politicians claim a mandate to screw you because you voted for them.  But you didn’t have a free choice.   If you had a free choice you might have voteds for someone else outside their party.  Technically speaking, nothing passed by Congress since Political Parties were established has been passed by the People’s Representatives or the People’s will.

People do not choose to go to war and sacrifice their children, representatives of Political Parties do.
People do not choose for our country to go into debt, Party representatives do.
People do not choose to raise taxes nor to steal money from them through inflation, Party representatives do.
People did not choose to create the, until then, unconstitutional direct tax on income.   That was a request from the Political Parties in congress, ratified into an amendment by the political parties in the state legislatures.

If the people had a free choice, none of the above would have happened.

Are you getting the picture?
Does this not feel outrageous and make your blood boil?
Can you hear what’s being said?
Does this not put a bitter taste in your mouth?

Does this not smell fishy to you?

The only solution is to eliminate Political parties.

What’s wrong with political parties?
  1. George Washington and James Madison warned us NOT to create them.
  2. Constant Conflict, real and manufactured – To distinguish themselves Political parties must hold opposing views.  An association of people formed to resolve an issue is temporary and the incentive is to fix and disband.  Parties MUST have continue to be in conflict to be relevant.  Therefore there is little incentive to resolve conflicts, as they are useful for fund raising and to justify a party’s existence.  There is incentive to win and not to compromise and corrupt incentive to manufacture new conflicts once any are resolved.
  3. The political process is shaped by differences (of Partisan affiliation) instead of commonality as Americans.
  4. Decisions are made for the Partisan good and not the public good.
  5. Permanent Parties, formed with the goal of implementing an ideology and staying in power, and whose members march in lockstep on all issues replace and exclude legitimate temporary factions, whose members are united based on a few major issues, formed specifically for the purpose of correcting a problem.
  6. Un-elected control, by two private clubs, of selection and direction of all representatives.
  7. Party control determines the direction of the country and the legislation instead of the representatives of the people.
  8. Party bias blinds it’s members to critical facts that contradict their Political mythology and propaganda.  For instance, ignoring ISIS since the myth was that the administration conquered terrorism (“Bin Laden is dead and Gm is alive”) and withdrawal of troops due to Political reasons, despite the reality of their need.
  9. Wining and power become the motivating factors  – in elections and lead to registration, voter and other Fraud.
  10. A Political party can legitimize bad policy or lies just by sheer number of people expressing the same opinion or talking points.
  11. It’s easier to fool the public – when you have large resources and a common deception.
  12. Party interests come first –Parties are about themselves and their interests, not the interests of the States or people.
  13. Parties usurp representation from the States and the people, since there can be only two opinions instead of 100 or 435 respectively.
  14. At the very best even a completely altruistic “representative” will still only do what is best for the constituency in his/her distric who belong to their party and against the  interests of the rest of their district.
  15. People’s self interest determines that they vote for the party that gives them the most privileges, encouraging further corruption and re-distribution.
  16. Party control shapes opinion. The people are propagandized, coerced, cajoled, seduced and even forced to conform to a party line.
  17. Lobbying of Political parties by special interest and foreign enemy groups is easier than influencing Individual politicians.
  18. We are electing an ideology, not representatives.
  19. Political Parties are Monopolies of Government power and should be treated the same as Business Monopolies.
  20. Insults and Uncivil Dissent, based on party rivalry, replaces reasoned discourse on principle.
  21. There is not enough competition of opinion.
  22. Parties regard those outside the party as enemies with whom they have no common ground
  23. A “cycle of violence” is created by the desire to get even.
  24. Trust in government is broken by the Parties’ inability to compromise.
  25. Too much power leads to corruption
  26. Lack of individual responsibility, when in a group.  Mob mentality among the party members.
  27. Explicit protection of malfeasance by the group which leads to winning at any cost, with no moral restraints.  For the same reason the Catholic Church protected their pedophile priests, so too Political parties protect their criminals and liars.
  28. Biases Supreme Court Judges to supporting their party’s agenda rather than unbiased judgment and makes it acceptable to alter and reinterpret the Constitution.

Political parties are Effectively grants of hereditary representation (Peerage and Title) in the Federal and State Legislatures violating Article I Section 8 of the US Constitution “No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States” and Article 9 “No State shall…grant any Title of Nobility”.

Why do we need Constitutional Amendment Repeal and Repair?

Posted by in Uncategorized

You pay the freight, for the State!

Over the last 100 years, the Freight has become too great.  If we don't lighten the load, we will all collapse.

Q – Can't the States control the Federal Government of the United States?

A – There is no United "States".  That is now a misnomer.  Since 1913, with the passage of the 16th and 17th Amendments, the States are no longer part of the Federal Government (17th – no State election of Senators) so they have no vote or veto.  The States are dependent on, and controlled by, the Federal Government's doling out of tax revenue it collected from the State's citizens. (16th – direct tax on income).   Previously Senators were elected by State Legislatures and taxes were collected by the State which then funded the Federal Government.  We need to repeal both these amendments to restore the State's power to check and balance the power of the Federal Government.

Q – But why Amendments?  Can't we just elect different people?

A – No matter who you elect, one or, at most, two Political Parties will still control the government.  Political Parties which can control more than one branch of government, break Constitutional checks and balances.  They set the agenda and select the candidates for office, limiting democracy and the voice of the people.

Term limits don't matter since the Party always stays in power no matter what faces fill the seats.

Why do people think they need Political Parties?   The first Political party was formed to gain power.  Thomas Jefferson formed a party to combat the power of that party.   Eliminating Political Parties would level the playing field and restore power to the people.  Only an amendment can assure this.

Political parties are one of the reasons for the stalemates in State Legislatures which led to vacant Senate seats and the justification for the 17th Amendment.   Therefore, an Amendment to remove Political Party Control is necessary before repealing the 17th amendment.

See: http://02f8c87.netsolhost.com/WordPress/archives/1309

Q – But why Amendments?  Isn't the Constitution, as written, enough? Doesn't it cover everything already?  Shouldn't we, rather, educate the populace so they will demand we enforce the Constitution or change some laws?

Education is absolutely important but we can not enforce "The" Constitution.  The Constitution that our current legal code is based upon, is not the original.  It is a reinterpretation and rewrite of the original Constitution based on the Supreme Court's prior rulings.  Congress is already obeying this virtual Constitution.   The Supreme Court version is the only "Constitution" that can legally be enforced.  This broken system, and its laws, are protected from change by the power of legal precedent.  The Court's version gives Congress virtually unlimited power over the individual.

Changing laws will not solve the problems. No matter what laws are passed, as long as the system remains broken and the government controls the people rather than the people controlling the government, any temporary improvement can be washed away by the next legal tweak.  Only an Amendment can fix this Systemic problem and take back the power usurped by the Supreme Court.

Q – With the right Judicial Appointments, couldn't the Supreme Court overturn their earlier rulings?

Not likely. Not while Political Party ideology bias the Judges thoughts and determine who is appointed.  Also the Judges are bound by their legal precedent.  Even if they did change it, the next court could overrule them again.  Only Amendments carry the authority and weight to eliminate Party influence and Control and override the Supreme Court's precedents.

Q – How can you guarantee that these Amendments will be Politically Viable and gain bipartisan support?

We are trying to end Partisanship.  Worrying about fitting Amendments to the liking of the Political Parties is self defeating.  The focus should be how to get by the Political Parties to pass amendments that they will probably resist.

The first step is to convince America that Political Parties are bad. That means reversing the false trust and hope that solutions will come with election of YOUR party.   It is never YOURS. It is theirs only. It also means disarming the hate for the OTHER party that has been programmed into the people.  Divided we fall.

The divisiveness and hate Political Parties foster is reason enough to get rid of them.

The will of the people and the States, to restore their power, will dominate the self centered will of the private clubs we call Political Parties.

Q – Who says we are smart enough to change the Constitution?

No one here wants to CHANGE the Constitution from what the Framers intended, we just want to repair the damage, restore and re-balance usurped powers and add more protections against corruption that the Framers could not anticipate.

Q – What if Congress will not propose these Amendments?

The States will tell Congress to call an Article V Convention (not a "Constitutional" Convention) of delegates from all the States to propose Amendments for ratification by 3/4 of the State Legislatures.

Q – Can we control what Amendments are proposed in this Convention?

Not necessarily.  Therefore, before calling a convention, the populace and the Legislators must be educated in American civics, the Constitution and its history, Natural Rights and responsibilities, original intent, why there is a problem with the current system, what the government system is supposed to be, what we are trying to achieve and why it is better than what we have.

Even people (mostly Republicans and Libertarians), who understand most of the above, do not understand all of it and may not realize just how broken and irreparable the government system is, and therefore see the need for Amendments.  Before their Convention, the Founders educated and convinced the Public with the Federalist Papers.   We should do something similar.

Q – America is the richest Country on earth and we have an obligation to provide for everyone.

A –  There is no such obligation on the Federal Government.  Our personal American values encompass this obligation.  If anything the Federal Government is restricting us from this personal obligation.

Secondly, America is not a wealthy country. It is a country that has wealthy citizens.  The "Country's" wealth is taken by force from its citizens thanks to the income tax amendment.   It would be more accurate to say that those who have power in government, have pirated a wealth of booty that they will distribute, under the guise of providing for everyone, to make people dependent voters, and keep themselves in power.

Morally and Constitutionally the Federal government can not take your wealth to give to someone else or to provide a service for someone else. It is theft.  It is Forced taking of property without just compensation.  Entitlement is stealing a persons title to give to another, who did not earn it.

Wealth taken by force is VIOLENCE, which breeds resentment and violence in those being taken from and violence and rioting in those who have become dependent and face losing the unearned benefit.

Wealth taken involuntarily by force (stolen) corrupts the individuals who distribute it.   Politicians gain excessive  power which they jealously guard with more violence of laws and regulations.   So much wealth and power attracts corrupt, or easily corruptible, Politicians who then corrupt the system even further.  Since it is not their money, they have no incentive to be thrifty, so they spend and waste and give each other personal wealth, privileges, perks and exemptions.  With no accountability and easy access to everyone's pockets, they use your money to reward political contributors and implement any and all schemes and experiments that have no need for good results other than getting Politicians re-elected.  Re-election, not service, becomes the overriding goal of the Politician.  An Amendment is necessary to fix that.

Government allocation of wealth disturbs the free markets, into which it is distributed by force, thus making it harder for the individuals to produce wealth.

Wealth distributed, without being earned, corrupts the individuals who receive it.   Incentives to stay dependent (to keep the Politicians in power) get in the way of of learning a useable skill, making contacts, gaining experience and accumulating the wisdom and the maturity that comes from the process of earning.  Missing skills, maturity, experience and wisdom, they become trapped and generations stay dependent on the largess of the politician.  To be dependent is to live in fear.  Easy come easy go.  Dependency breeds resentment which breeds violence.

Social justice is not built on theft and violence!  Social Justice is built on individuals and their communities taking care of each other VOLUNTARILY!

If you see a person bleeding from a gaping wound would you
a) Close that poor person's wound and stop the bleeding?
b) Give that poor person more blood?

Politicians pick the second option and do not close the wound.   As long as the poor person is bleeding the Politician has a purpose.  As long as the Politician provides blood for the bleeding poor, the Politician has a job.  Of course, the Politicians do not give their blood.  The State has no blood of it's own so it must take it from the people. Bleeding the people eventually leads to unconsciousness and the inability to function.

Stealing from the rich, a minority, has been justified in the USA since 1913 with the rationalization that the rich are supposedly "Greedy" and "Evil" and must be "liberated" of their ill gotten wealth for the "Good of the people".  The rich control the world and won't let us achieve so we have to take the wealth from them by force.  Victims are created to justify entitlement.

National Socialism (Nazi) used the same rationalization in their Anti-Semitic caricatures of the Jews to justify stealing their property.  The Germans were the victims of the Jews who controlled the world and wrecked the German economy.

Have the Politicians and Political Parties not devalued and dehumanized the rich just like the Nazis did to the Jews?   People are already at the point of feeling morally justified to steal from the rich, by saying the Rich deserved it because "they didn't pay their fair share".   People already are programmed to HATE the rich.  So why earn money, if it is evil.  We get more "victims" and more need for the government to steal for them.   This is corrosive to our economy and Societal virtue.

How much further is it to justify stealing from another country?  Maybe a filthy rich one like the USA?  How much farther for the US government to feel guilty enough to redistribute US citizens' wealth to other countries?   That's right.  We are already there.

How far is it from justifying the violence of theft to the violence of war?

Every country in the world including the Jewish State of Israel has accepted the Collectivist/Statist/Communist/Socialist immorality that it is acceptable for the government to steal from the few, for the benefit of the many, as long as we can view it as "Justice" or compensation to a victim.  Ever wonder, aside from Islamic fanaticism, why there is still war?

If this seems incredible, it's because once we get used to something we no longer notice it.

We accept income taxes and don't even think about it.  But if we stop and pay attention we would notice that the constitution was subverted in order to allow this direct tax.  Not to mention the Tax breaks which control our behavior.

We think ourselves virtuous for helping the poor but we steal the earnings from taxpayers and the wealthy to do so.

Who Works for Whom?

Posted by in America
I hired a group of people to take care of a few tasks for me that I couldn’t do all by myself.
Mainly they were to protect my family and my home from harm.
Their other duties were to deliver essential communications and keep my business running smoothly.
I made a list of what they were authorized to do on my behalf and what they could expect me to pay for.
They vowed to stick to the list and only do what is necessary and applicable to the tasks on my list.

Every year they gave me an estimate of how much it would cost and I would make scheduled payments.
I gave them a small credit line in case they fell short or in case of emergency.
If their budget seemed too great or they strayed from the assigned tasks, I could negotiate with them until it was satisfactory.

As the team, I hired, grew in size, experience and power they figured they could do much more for me than the tasks I assigned them.
They badgered me constantly and even got a group together to convince me how good it would be.
At some point they wheedled a credit card from me by promising that the bill for all this good stuff they planned would never exceed more than 1% of my income.

Wouldn’t you know it? Once they had a hold of that card, they started spending more than we agreed.
I had to keep allocating more of my income to pay the ever increasing bills they ran up.
It got to the point that I had to cut back on the schools and charities I was funding.
No problem, they said. We’re so good at doing things for you.
We’ll just take over funding the charities and the schools and pay with your credit card.
They thought that was such a good idea that they also created a fund for widows and orphans, which they eventually turned into a pension fund for everyone who worked.
Eventually, they re-interpreted my words to justify just about anything they knew were good for me and my community, referring to the list only to keep their payments from me coming.

They took over existing community based housing, food and medical programs and created all sorts of new social programs.
I didn’t have enough to pay for all of this additional stuff, so they hired thugs to confiscate everyone else’s credit cards and drain their income too.
No matter how much we protested, or switched their personnel, they kept spending and increasing the credit line on our cards.
When they saw that all of us put together couldn’t pay for their spending, they borrowed money from other countries.
They guaranteed the loans with their power to confiscate more income from all of us, and our children, in the future.
Now we and our kids are on the hook to pay that debt, that we never authorized.
Since they were so good, in their eyes, at spending our money they decided they could do just as well controlling how we make money.
Instead of keeping business running smoothly, as we had agreed, they decided to run business.
They choked our businesses with rules that raised operating costs and prices.
They made rules that favored their friends, in large business, who had more influence and economies of scale than the small businesses who couldn’t compete.
People started removing their wealth and their businesses to other countries to avoid confiscation.
What a ruckus the people that we hired raised, claiming a loss of “their” revenue.
They even said that those who take advantage of loopholes, in their convoluted income confiscation scheme, are all thieves not paying their fair share.
They have forgotten that they were hired to serve US and not the other way around.

To solve the gap between what they spend and what they take in from us they want to cut back on the original tasks they were assigned, like protection of family and home, because they CAN’T cut back the entitlement, to all the social spending they created, now that we are all dependent on them.
They’re arguing whether just to take more of our income or perhaps cut back a bit on spending over the next 10 years.
They diddle while we burn out. As long as they are employed, they don’t seem to care about everyone else.
If only we could take back the card.

You may have guessed that “they” are the Federal Government, the list of tasks is Article I section 8 of the US Constitution and
the credit card is the 16th amendment that allowed income tax.
The good news is that we can take back their credit card by repealing the 16th amendment and with some repair, we can restore the original agreement.

Repeal the income tax and return to an excise tax on sales to support the Federal government with an equal check sent to all to cover a minimum subsidy for the poor.
This is a better and a more moral way to fund the Federal government which is fair to everyone and contributes to a minimum economic Safety Net at the same time.

We need redistribution of government power more than redistribution of income.

Return social programs to the community.

No one is Entitled
People have the right to acquire title to something, but first they must earn the title through trade.
Working in return for a salary does not earn title. The workers trade their service for salary, not ownership of the company.
People may think that putting in a lot of work on something gives them ownership.
However it is like a book. Putting in a lot of time and effort reading the book does not mean you own it.
Paying for something is a trading of value. If you get something of value you give something of value. That trading makes society work. Taking without giving something in return is theft.
Only the person that holds title can give away the title to someone else. Voluntary giving of title, to those in need, is charity and justice.
Government’s forcible taking of title, even if they give it to those in need (and don’t waste it), is theft.

Return control of the free market to the people. No more unequal personal and corporate tax exemptions, subsidies, regulations, laws (other than health and consumer protection) that influence the free market. When government has no influence, the need for Politicians to be bought will go away and the lobbyists and campaign contributions will cease.

Reduce salaries of representatives to a bare minimum to cover minimum expenses with no pension or ability to receive positions in industry after their term.
This will attract only those motivated, by honor and self satisfaction, to help their constituency, not just themselves at the expense of the community.
This will restore a system that promotes Voluntary Service not Mandatory Avarice.

Eliminate the incentive of power and access to wealth for our representatives and you will eliminate the need for campaign contributions and their influence.

Prohibit spending on campaign advertising other than informing the public through debates or other forums.
We can then elect based on the measure of the person not influence money and advertising propaganda.

We sit waiting for two parties to work out a deal. They are supposed to represent what we want.
However, our country is not divided into only two opinions and only two ideas.
Eliminate the parties in the House and return to 435 representatives working out what the PEOPLE want by majority vote and running it by the Senate to get agreement from the STATES and then run it by the President to make sure it all makes sense.

People help people, Governments help themselves.

The greedy in government do not protect us from greed, they merely monopolize it. – Dr. Society

The Politicians and bureaucrats who run the government are just as flawed and greedy as the rest of us.  The more power you give to a government the more corrupt it becomes.  Just as ours has become the more that Constitutional limitations on government power have been broken.
