Powers – Oh Behave

Posted by in America
Power corrupts. Remove the power and it will remove the moral hazard that leads to corruption.
Consolidation of power is the problem with today’s government.

Learn the lesson. In Biblical times power was distributed to the judges
Israel was warned not to consolidate power in a king.

According to the Constitution, Congress was to have the power to allocate money.
The States had the power to collect the money.
Congress was not to have consolidated power to both collect wealth and spend it.

Control of the value of currency consolidates power.
The ability to confiscate your wealth directly consolidates power.
Large corporations enabled by government regulations to monopolize the market consolidates power.
Common currency like the Euro and control of it’s value consolidates power.
Collusion consolidates power.

The root cause is consolidated power which must be dissipated.

Why we need a values amendment to control the government.

Posted by in America
Are you content with the way things are?
If so, perhaps you have ignored what's happening around you.
We are now a Socialist Democracy instead of a Constitutional Republic.

We are almost at the end of the slippery slope to economic ruin and tyranny.

Congress plays accounting games to fool you into believing they are cutting their spending of your wealth

Here is a warning to the future from Freidrich Keller.
Stop the slide before you too become as Germany in the 1930's where the Socialists were allowed to take over.

Heed these words – as true today as then:
"What our ancestors had fought to achieve over centuries, was forfeited… by stupid carelessness and incomprehensible gullibility"
Have we not done the same in the USA?

People could not see until it was too late:
"The bitter cup of National Socialism must be drunk to the last drop.
Not until there is no longer any hope in castles in the air and other miracles, will the entire house of cards collapse."

Still don't see the need to add a values amendment to control the government?
Here are some sites that outline more problems:

The problems of the welfare entitlement mentality living on stolen money.

Thanksgiving is an indictment of Self-sacrifice and Central Control in Socialism and Communism

Posted by in America

The true story of Thanksgiving has been changed in our schools, culture and media by the Left because the true story is an indictment of self-sacrifice and central control in Socialism and Communism.

The bountiful harvest and Thanks Giving that was celebrated was possible only because the original Socialist/Communist organization of property and economics of the Plymouth Colony was abandoned.

Here is an excerpt from the diary of William Bradford.  Only the archaic spelling has been fixed.  Emphasis mine.

A Shot in the dark

Posted by in America

Imagine if whiskey were used as currency.

A shot of whisky buys you a breakfast at the diner.

You earn a nice salary of 10 bottles of fine Fed Reserve whiskey a week.  However you only bring home 4 bottles.  The IRS takes the other 6 directly from your Employer.  (income and other hidden taxes)

In the middle of the night the Federal Reserve breaks in to your house and pours out half the whisky from your latest 4 bottles and from all the bottles you have stashed away over the years.   The whisky they stole from you is used to pay for even more government spending.  You don't realize what they have done because they have refilled the half empty bottles with water. (This is called "monetizing the debt" e. g. printing more dollars)

It still looks like a bottle of whisky.  The label says one bottle of whisky but in reality it is half diluted.    In the morning it now takes 2 shots to buy breakfast.

The government calls it price inflation and blames it on the greedy businesses.

There is No such thing as a Free Benefit

Posted by in America

There is no such thing as "free".   Someone pays for it.

There is no such thing as a "government" benefit. Government has no money to pay for it. Government gets all it's money from you.

Government investment does not respond to market signals of supply and demand.   They are the result of Political decisions.   Unlimited access to your Capital deadens any sense of risk.

Government, against the people's will and against market wisdom, steals the Capital that you earned, and have a right to invest as you see fit, to fund politically useful programs that they can claim credit for.

Government's infusion of your Capital creates an artificial demand for a product, people don't necessarily want or need, in a way that is never tested and refined by the market's intelligence (millions of you).

Problems are dealt with by regulation which breeds automaton-like bureaucrats, poor or no customer service and the need for more regulation to program the automatons in unforeseen situations or consequences.  A program is only as good as its programmers.  Who do you think is better at it, a few bureaucrats or millions of you?

Throughout history, ALL government programs of that sort are failures.
The solution is to remove them.
